Kings Bowl, the coolest bowling alley/bar we’ve ever seen, hosted a celebrity bowling party benefitting High Hopes. Stars and Strikes was billed as a celebrity bowling tournament, with music industry folks, politicians and celebs knocking down pins. The rest of the crowd was knocking down specialty cocktails, gourmet pizza and barbecue sliders.
We played paparazzi to some of the style stars of the night. With so many stylish folks, we could barely snap our camera fast enough.
High Hopes Therapy Clinic provides physical, occupational, speech and feeding therapy for children from birth to 21, while the Inclusive Preschool offer early childhood education with 60% of the class typically developing children and 40% a diagnosed special need.
The night was more than a party and fundraiser. Music artists and songwriters performed in The Whiskey Room at the VIP pre-event. When Lee Greenwood played “God Bless the USA” the crowd cheered and sang along.
County Mayor Rogers Anderson has perfect bowling form. (And he can smile and look picture perfect while he is throwing strikes–serious talent.)
No amount of contouring can give you killer cheekbones like JoDee Messina. Oh yeah, she sings like an angel too. She performed at the Stars and Strikes fundraiser with equally talented songwriter Tim Nichols.
Kings Bowl offers craft cocktails, chef crafted meals, hand tossed pizza and house smoked ribs. Here, Sarahbeth Taite and Lisa Harliss enjoy the sips and nibbles offered at the Stars and Strikes event.
Kings Bowl is such a cool bowling alley. (Yes, I used cool and bowling in the same sentence.) Just as cool? Kings Bowl picked High Hopes Inclusive Preschool and Therapy Center as the recipient of their grand opening event.
