It’s officially the week of flux in Middle Tennessee– people passing through or leaving Nashville en route to Bonnaroo, or making their way into Music City for CMA Festival. If you haven’t gotten your pass or don’t plan to dish out the big bucks to buy one this year, all hope is not lost!

While you may not be allowed to attend the main concerts, there are plenty of free shows happening all weekend, sprawled across Nashville. Catch some of your favorite stars or discover new up-and-coming artists by attending any of the following gigs:

Chevy Riverfront Stage

 

The Chevy Riverfront Stage is the epicenter of daytime music with must-see lineups featuring the newest faces of Country Music and favorites you know and love. Located on the Cumberland River’s Riverfront Park, the Chevy Riverfront Stage is completely FREE! Four-day CMA Fest pass holders get early access each day!

Ascend Ampitheater

Debuting for the first time at CMA Fest in 2017, the FREE fan-favorite Budweiser Forever Country Park Stage is back this year and located in the same location – the lawn area behind Ascend Amphitheater, surrounded by the Cumberland River Greenway. The stage features a lineup full of some of the biggest names in Country Music from the ‘80s, ‘90s and ‘00s!
