Do you struggle to overcome self-doubt or perfectionism? What about fear or shame? Do you long for connection, compassion, and real change in your life? Are you searching for genuineness and belonging?

If you answered “Yes” to any of the above questions, a weekly group workshop is coming to the Nashville area to help you develop both new relationships and new skills to empower you! Two local licensed counselors, Grace Hallock, MA, NCC, LPC-MHSP (TEMP) and Lauren Russell, MA, NCC, have teamed up to create the SHAME RESILIENCY GROUP.

This weekly group begins February 8 and features Brene Brown’s Connections. For 10 weeks on Thursdays from 6:00pm to 7:30pm, you have the ability to join a community of individuals bonded by a hope for empowerment and authentic living.

Brene Brown describes shame as “the intensely painful feeling or experience of believing we are flawed and therefore unworthy of love and belonging.” It is one of the most corrosive human emotions, yet also one of the most universal. It may manifest itself in a multitude of ways for different people in different experiences, but combating the shame at the core of any problem is effective.

If you are interested in joining a community seeking out courage and compassion together in the name of combating shame, then please e-mail Grace Hallock at GRACEHALLOCK@GMAIL.COM for more information.
