Nashville and country music played a big part in Dale Tubb’s marriage to his bride Ashley.
Dale Tubb grew up with the legend of his grandfather, Ernest Tubb, a part of his family history, and he and Ashley wanted to honor the legend on their wedding day.
Ernest Tubb, known as the Texas Troubadour, wrote and recorded the country honky tonk classic Walkin’ the Floor Over You, and is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame. Tubb is often considered one of the fathers of country music.
Grandson Dale Tubb, along with fiancee Ashley, chose to hold their reception at  the Country Music Hall of Fame in downtown Nashville.
The entire wedding had a decidedly Nashville flavor, with Ashley and her bridesmaids sipping champagne at the penthouse suite at the Omni Hotel, and then taking a trolley to the church, Cathedral of the Incarnation in Nashville.
