The 77th Middle Tennessee Strawberry Festival will have a special patriotic theme this year. This year, the festival will honor the men and women of the military with “Stars, Stripes & Strawberries.”

Going along with the patriotic theme, Sherri Ferguson the President and CEO of the Portland Chamber of Commerce wanted to add something special to the firework show.

“I thought bringing Joe in would be a long shot,” Ferguson said. “We got in contact with him and we’re very excited that he will be performing leading up to the fireworks show.”

Everson does a paintings upside down and once the song is almost over, he flips the them over to reveal the final product.

According to, the video performances of him singing national anthem and painting a live-action artwork have been viewed over 175 million times.

Joe has traveled the nation and has been featured on Fox News, ESPN, Fox Sports, SB Nation,, and other major websites across the country.

He has performed all for the Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks, Florida Panthers, San Antonio Spurs, University of Arkansas, University of Mississippi, University of Alabama, and many other sports organizations around the country.
