Study ranks Tennessee number 19 for violence against seniors, including suicide

SeniorLiving.org A new study by SeniorLiving.org, a website that offers research-based rankings and ratings for housing, safety, healthcare and money resources, finds that Tennessee is the No. 19 most dangerous state to live for senior citizens. The ranking is based on the latest data from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on fatal and non-fatal injuries across the country. According to the findings from 2018 for seniors in Tennessee: Overall Violent Deaths: No. 19 with 21.3 per 100,000 people.
