I love words. Written words in books, spoken words in theater — words are (no pun intended) my love language.
This holiday season word gifts are the perfect way to share your wit, passion and style. (And my favorite word-centric gift idea, a mini-marque light box that allows you to create your own sign, lets the recipient shine a light (pun intended) on their passion.
You know those giant old-fashion marque signs? The ones that say “Now Playing…”? You can gift a mini version so that your creative child or adult can make a word statement that is on display!
Sometimes you don’t need the entire word to make a statement. Just the (so cool) initials will do. Case in point? The BNA hat that pays homage to Nashville. A great gift for a new-to-Tennessee friend or your always-wearing-cap-nephew.
Sometimes words can be sly and sneak up on you. The entire Mudpie line, filled with witty sayings on practical items, always, always makes me smile. Perfect for the friend who has a wicked sense of humor and major cooking skills.
